Step 1: Stay positive! This is very important. Yes, your life is going to be different, but it does not mean that it is going to be worse. Trust us. It is not the end of the world. In fact, it is going to become much better, once you gain access to numerous free programs and services, and you get a lot of help along the way. You will learn what to do to help your child. You child will be better, and if you are ready to learn and work a lot with your child, your child will be SIGNIFICANTLY better. Remember, you are your child's first and best teacher!

Step 2: Get your child on the waiting lists for all possible Free Government Services and apply for all available Charities and Financila Aid.

Step 3: Read About Autism.

Step 4: Perform On-line Developmental Screening of your child to determine which skills you need to teach and focus on in the meantime and keep reassessing your child's skills.

Step 5: Participate in Free Community-Based Programs and Seminars.

Step 6: Start using Home-Based Strategies and Activities to enhance your child's development.

Step 7: Read and assess information about possible therapeutic changes that you can introduce into your child's diet (Gluten Free & Casein Free Diets, etc.) and other types of Biomedical Interventions.

Step 8: Start doing Special Physical Exercises and Sports with your child.

Step 9: Find out about availability of different Parent Supports
